Remember to pack some spare clothes

We do ask all parents to make sure that a full change of Drayton House School uniform clothes is provided for their child on the days that they attend school. Please include items like socks and a couple of pairs of pants just in case of accidents, as well as trousers, leggings and tops.

Spare clothes are kept in your child's shoe bag which hangs on their named peg. If your child does have an accident and needs a change of clothes we will, of course, bag the used clothes and send them home that day.

Book bags for the rising 3s

Our book bags are used for our older children in Forms 1 - 4. They will use it to bring their pictures or books home with them. They may also, when they reach Forms 3 and 4, wish to bring home a reading book and perhaps an activity that they would like to share with you.

Homework is a way for the children to share what they have been doing with you at their own pace, and should be a fun family time.

Summer uniform

Our summer uniform is a blue and white small checked dress from a well-known local high street supplier (whose initials you are probably familiar with!) and, for boys, grey shorts with grey, white or red socks. Could we please ask that sandals are not peep-toe or open heeled as these have caused accidents in the past. We also ask that each child has a sunhat for playtimes.
